| 55 Plus Yonkers Connections (55Plus) is a regional initiative that encourages the residents of the City of Yonkers and its regional neighbors aged 55 and over to maintain independence, continue meaningful engagement in community life and have access to services according to their needs. |
| Across the United States, communities are experiencing a substantial increase in the number of older active adults. Yonkers and the surrounding communities are no exceptions. The first of 77 million baby boomers turned 60 in 2006. Almost one quarter of the Yonkers population is 55 or over. Are you one of them? |
